According to the International Energy Agency in its latest report, last year the renewable energy power plants’ capacity increased by more than 50%, reports the Russian BBC service.

Plans call for construction on the territory of Suvorivskyi township council of Izmail Raion of power generating facility – Solar Power Plant. This power plant is planned to be located on a site with the total area of 25 ha. This is reported by BessarabiiaINFORM correspondent referring to the Department of Capital Construction and Architecture of Izmail Raion State Administration.

The European Bank for Reconstruction and Development as one of the key creditors of Ukraine has attained a funding package amounting to EUR 23.1 mln for implementation of Karpatska Wind Power Plant project in Lviv Oblast.
